Even though their fleshy lifespan was short, they where obedient and destructive. Soon the unstoppable clone army ravaged the lands..." This was a long overdue project I fiannly finished. I shot Coen in summer 2012 and have been working on this image ever since, cutting out poses and compositing them. I started with a square composite, and it just didn't sit right, nothing I did made the composition better. Then I decided to stretch the image to a wide version and everything fell into place. This will be part of my superhero/villains series I'm building Photography and edit: Dracorubio Model: Coen van der Steen Wed, 18 Dec 2013 18:26:31 -0500 Ouch
Meeting fellow photographers and photoshop wizards always leads to painfully fun encounters. Years later the statue is resurfaces, and it is infused with miracles. It's a classic Christian tale of miracles, but the story did infuse my fantasy with imagery. In my own belief, the virgin Mary is the western continuation of the Earth Goddess who is present in so many cultures and beliefs. So I stripped the virgin Mary from her western form and replaced it with a more ancient and natural form, rising from the water being all miraculous. The model photo was take by Michel van der Linden, who allowed me the use of the image, for this composition. It came by me just at the right moment and was exactly what I needed for this image, which is a miracle by itself. Tue, 22 Oct 2013 04:43:03 -0400 none left alive
no one left the workshop alive, it was a success ;-) Mon, 07 Oct 2013 16:55:16 -0400
