My Warped Angel

Some people have no Guardian Angles, for before they were born some Angles had abandoned God... They did not rebel against the Lord and did not follow Lucifer, yet centuries later forsaken their service, dabbling in abominable and filthy practices.

But since he was to be a Guarding Angel of a soul, much to his bewilderment and her horror, there is still some sort of link between them, and therefore from time to time he sits outside her window and watches.

The rings above his head are not halos, but three curses, anathemas. The first deprived him off speech so he can no more blaspheme against God, the second made his eyes blacken and oversensitive to light, for he turned his back to the light and hence shall no wallow in it anymore, the last one made his feet burn when he treads into our realm, to deter him from approaching mortals...
