Shadowness - DeathOfADream http://shadowness.com Hello, all! I am an artist who specializes in animal art and anthro art with a hint of fantasy and spiritualism. I really like the way it came out, especially for being done all in colored pencils. I kind of want to add more to the background but I'm not sure so for now it's done, but that could change in the future. It's certainly not perfect, but I feel like I improved in the process of drawing this. (Check out this similarly composed picture I did just two years ago: http://deathofadream.deviantart.com/art/Winter-White-Wolf-146375188). I used no lineart. Everything in this picture was done in colored pencils. This is a coyote, not a wolf. It's a northeastern coyote which look more wolfy than their southern cousins. There isn't much mythology about wolves, but they were once worshipped by certain people as guardians until Western culture took over and they were killed as pests. This picture is a symbolic depiction of the last wolf fighting against extinction, an unconquerable monster.
