Feb 10thAfter 10 years of inactivity I recently started drawing again. I'm from South Africa and live in Cape Town. I studied Graphic Design but mostly apply that to doing marketing and design for the night-club my husband and myself own. After designing tattoos for us I realized how much I missed drawing and started working harder to improve. "Who has been your favorite teacher?" I don't think any of the professionals that were suppose to help mold my young mind had an effect on me. I can name several that were a negative influence. The person that taught me most about life and art is my mother. She is an artist in her own right and gave me a love for all forms of creativity. "How did you find Shadowness?" I'm a member of Deviant Art and was invited by May Fong. "What is your favorite non-art related activity?" I LOVE reading. I wish I had more hands and eyes to draw and read at the same time. I enjoy designing and making my own clothes...it's a goth thing.

Aveva sbagliato mille volte con quel suo figlio e continuava a scegliere errori per lui perché i vampiri non sono bravi genitori, non lo sono affatto. Non sono programmati per esserlo in nessun caso e lei era degnamente vampira ma indegnamente madre…da troppi secoli la sua vita mortale si era spezzata per ricordarsi anche solo cosa significasse essere figlia, come poteva conoscere il significato della parola madre se non le era mai stato concesso un figlio come donna? Nei suoi infiniti venticinque anni non conosceva niente che poteva aiutarla nel crescere un figlio. Nei suoi trecentoventi anni non aveva mai pensato di essere una madre fallita, lo scoprì in quel momento, davanti a quei due ragazzi che avevano un odore troppo invitante e umano per resistere a non assaggiarli.

Aug 14th, 2011I'm an italian self-taught traditional artist, I'm living near the splendid city of Venice. Since I was a child I was in love with arts, colour and evrything can give me something. I studied art in high school but I started to take seriously the design a few years ago, when for the first time I entered the world of illustration. All my pictures are made with colored pencils and graphite, my reasons for living. I really hope to be able to slowly improve myself more and more. I love the realism, but I try in every illustration to convey some of my emotions and feelings, so every person can be able to know the most hidden part of me and I hope to be able to do that. Feb 2ndI've been painting over 25 yrs. I paint oil and pastels. I enter many shows and have won some awards. I am a PSNJ member and am a member of 2 art associations. I paint all subjects in traditional art and paint for commission.
May 2nd, 2011This past year or so I've been in the process of re-discovering my love for art as a hobby; so far my favourite medium is charcoal with its wondrous powers of blending, though more recently I have begun to experiment with watercolours. Being entirely self-taught, I make as many failures as successes, but nonetheless have a lot of fun in the process. ;)
Sep 8thI'm a selftought pencil-artist. Mainly focusing on a combination between portraits and fantasy, but now and then doing a bit of comicbook style kind of things. Usually work in black&white, but will eventually play with colors too! Since I have a full time job offshore on oilrigs, this is just a hobby....so far, but you never know...
