      the trees in Hyde Park are 'exotics' - plane trees from England. And yes, there is an Austumn, though in Western Australia, it is vanishing. I'm originally from Melbourne and there are many more European trees there. The Autumn is beautiful, and the weather's more - um - autumnal. And here in Perth, many people have trees like liquid ambers in their gardens, chinese tallow and so on - no Austrlian natives loose their leaves, so these trees are very precious to me in winter. And there are the flame trees 7 jacaranda - from south Africa - they flower before their leaves and are simply beautiful.
