Allthough I had an "artistic break" for almost 13 years I slowly started to pick up my skills again by the end of 2008....first digitally, and since last year (seriously) the trusty pencils. After my first publication last year in the special 18+ edition of the Pure Fantasy Magazine, things got started, and slowly taking steps into the world of professional illustrator, and make my dream come true !!! Currently illustrating for Pure Fantasy Magazine and ArtVlam. Also working on an illustrated fantasy novel (trilogy), a project together with dutch bestselling suspense/thriller author Jack Lance. I'm a 32-year old general digital photographer with a broad range of interests from Amersfoort, The Netherlands. I'm a very visually-oriented person with also a strong imagination. Through my photography, I try to either visualize the images, concepts or ideas that I have in my head, or to register a specific view or image that catches my attention IRL. I really enjoy trying to achieve the "perfect picture" just the way I like/want it (although that has almost never happened yet, since I'm pretty critical about my own work and techique). I also really admire each and every artist who is able to produce strong, creative and intriguing images and I thoroughly enjoy a well-thought-out and well-executed idea :)
