Excellent, the cookie does not blend with the plate very well at all. If you've still got the psd, duplicate the layer, blur the bottom one with gaussian blur filter, and add a drop shadow to the top one. Just small increments so you get a tiny blurry thin drop shadow. Then darken the plate down a bit.
