Faber Castell. Quality and price wise. Best pick for students ;)
Aug 14th, 2011Derwent and Koh-I-noor :) Why?..well I dont know really, I got most of the Derwent as a present, and I totally fell in love with them.
Aug 14th, 2011I first started out with Crayola, they were very good to me in my opinion, then about a year ago my grandpa upgraded me to prismacolors ^^ I love both now.
Aug 15th, 2011I use Prismacolor, they layer very well. I used Derwent for a bit (got them as a gift) they're pale in comparison to Prismacolor. I only have a set of 18 Prismacolors but I can take on any project with them. I've heard good things about Faber Castell though.
Aug 15th, 2011I use prismacolor, they blend very well and you can build up lots of nice layers with them. I occasionaly use other random ones which I don't know the name to. Only problem with prismacolor is that they break so easily, and I have a bad habit of dropping mine all the time -.-
Aug 15th, 2011Prismacolor. They're the first artist grade pencils I ever tried, and I really like how smooth they are and how well they blend.
Aug 15th, 2011Prismacolor. They might not be the cheapest, but I love the chalkyness of them and the way they glow. They're very good for blending, too.
Aug 16th, 2011I use Faber-Castell as much as I can, however I don't have many colours of them, so I often have to substitute with my big bag of random pencil crayons, which are mostly Laurentien for more specific colours.
Aug 16th, 2011Faber Castell, It's the standard in our school=)
Aug 16th, 2011Faber Castell Too :D ! Because I Love It xD
Aug 16th, 2011I've used Prismacolor colored pencils now for about ten years and I love them ... They're my standard. I do try others from time to time and really want to try Faber Castell once I can afford them. Oh I do have some Derwent too but still prefer my Prismacolors right now
Anything i can get hold of here in Spain, very limited open stock............
Sep 3rd, 2011Steadtler. They blend better than most pencils giving it a smoother appearance like pastels, but it's not too waxy. And the colors blend on top of each other a little bit like paint. AND they color graphite is wrapped in paper and then put in the wood barrel so the leads never (and i mean NEVER) break. :3

There's plenty of brands out there - Faber Castell, Koh-I-Noor, Derwent or Black Tree.
Aug 13th, 2011I myself use Faber Castell's Eco (which happen to suck...), few no-names (completely no name on a pencil), Koh-I-Noor and some old Herlitz and Corte. I know those brands are not the best (but are cheap) and want to know, what brand do you use, fellow Shadows?
