Echidna, the monster of the monsters.
She is the mother of the greatest and most fierce monsters of Greek Mythology.
Echidna is a monster figure, half winged woman with bright eyes and half huge and scaly snake.
She lived in a deep cave underneath a rock in Cilicia, far from the gods and the people. She lived in the cave with her husband Typhoon, a creature with one hundred heads.
She was ageless and immortal and she used to seduce her victims in concavities of the ground and to engulf them while they were still alive.
She gave birth to Cerberus, Orthrus (the guard of Geryon's cattle), The Nemean Lion, Lernaia Hydra, the Crommyonian Sow (also called Phaia after the woman who owned it) and The Sphinx of Thebes. She is also thought to be the mother of Chimera, the Colchian Dragon (who protected the Golden Fleece), the Lagon (the dragon who protected the Golden Apples of the Hesperides), the Caucasian Eagle (the eagle that every day consumed the liver of Prometheus),the Scylla and the Teumessian Fox.

Thanks for watching :)

I will draw more mythological creatures in the future.
