We have several ancient Cherry trees and every spring as the fruit ripens a massive murder of crows takes up residency in the trees. My back deck sits at the ideal height to watch them, and their antics are entertainment of the highest order. I have taken many sketches of them, these two crows come from some of those sketches.

One of my favorite things to do when the trees are way past the point of picking cherries is to watch the crows swarm in and devour them all.
