Shadowness - CharonLRoberts My name's Charon I work in the Digital medium. As of May 2014 I've moved onto a different profession and am now writing a book series. I'm self-... en Doe Deer.
Have not used this stock model in ages and well during my little manifest of cracking out photomanips on new years day I just had to use him again and considering how eager I was to continue my abstarct meets the surreal trip I think it turned out rather well actually. And wait there.
A painting I started on last week, which I’ve neglected for a while so I went back to it and made a few tweaks. The concept was originally minimal and I wanted to keep it that way. At the moment I’m concerned about going to my traditional art and continuing to get back to my gaming. But anyway I had some spare time to work in between doing some co-op on Borderlands 2 managed to help level up their characters very satisfying. Now I added my typical themes here but this particular colourscheme is one of my favorites in the long run I have plans on doing some more in the coming months in between my Traditional Art & Photomanips so look out for them. Having done that I've now become very fund of this piece considering how much time I've spent on it. Anyway it was a fun to paint. Tough to be tender.
Another painting I’ve been working on between other things and since I got a 3DS XL recently I’ve been spending a lot of time on that as well but heck there’s a huge difference between the two but I just enjoy my new handheld console. Anyway I made a few adjustments to this while I had some spare time during an English assignment and I can finally call it a day on this one. Salus.
Been trying some overlapping experiments and keeping things to a minimal, as always I've added my love for all things floral with the astronomy. And I just wanted to have a darker theme for once not bright and bold so I've gone back to my horror roots. The sooner I begin my much needed hiatus the better will finally be able to go back into my shell and continue to not give a fuck and actually get some art done. Don't care what you think.
Might as well come out with this as I've been on numerous art sites over the years and had to put up with a lot of negative shit from both haters and people who've lied to me and you know what this stuff happens all the time because the person behind the computer screen is a coward and they think they have an obligation to put others down. Of course not everyone will like what you do and will try and stop you and if you let them win you're letting yourself down instead you should get back up and continue doing what you love and leave the haters to not get better if they aren't working towards anything because they're not worth it. To be honest it took me 4 years before I got my big break in the artworld and that was after having numerous breaks away from places and actually putting my head down to get to where I am now. And I managed to find a rare book last month that I never knew existed and well having gone through it numerous times I felt like going back into my nostalgia and this is the result. When I was younger I loved the design of the tower and the way it stood sort of like a beacon of hope and it still means the same thing to me now no matter how many times I see it. This is my take on the design more what I imagined it would be, but heck having now read the book I'm happy with this.
