Hey everyone! :D

Well, I finally took some time to work on this old fan-art piece that I started a while ago (on the side of my art-book project) and I think I will now consider it finished. I could have worked into it a lot more but I'm pretty satisfied with this result though I may change my mind and work into it again a bit later.

I was initially inspired to paint this image after recently re-discovering Sailor moon again. I used to watch it with my little cousin as a young teen and seeing it again recently brought back a ton of memories and inspiration to create this piece.

My goal for this painting was to create a sexy and more realistic depiction of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask in a steamy/sensual embrace. I wanted to maintain as much likeness as I could whilst making them look more realistic. I hope I pulled it off! :)

During the process of creating this work, I made a rose petal effect brush which I decided to make available to download as a thank you to all of you other digital artists who check out my blog. When using this brush it's helpful to blur the petals a bit to create a sense of movement. This brush was created using Photoshop CS5, Enjoy!
