Is this a form of hatching technique, kind of like using egg tempera? It produces a very cool effect, makes the colours luminous against that dark ground.
firts i drew the pencils, really loose, without any rendering. after that i just apllied semi liquid acrylics, and just then i inked a bit on the face. honestly, i dont know how that glow in the nose appeared, it´s basically the white of the sheet. Thanks for passing by and comment!

Ahhh using the original white! That makes sense. I'm surprised by this kind of translucency from acrylics! Really great piece :)
