Bad Hair Day

Ashley had a friend, her name was Gretchen. She lived next door, and sometimes Ashley visited her home and played there. On one afternoon, they decided Ashley would play at Gretchen's house. So on 3 pm, Ashley went there, knocked the door. Gretchen's mom opened the door, and she said, "Oh hi, Ashley. Come on in."
"Thank you, ma'am. Where is Gretchen?"
"She is at her bedroom, not in a good mood, I must say."
"What's wrong?"
"Well, you must look by yourself, dear. Go upstairs, I'll bring orange juice and some cookies for both of you later," said Gretchen's mom.

Ashley then went upstairs, right to Gretchen's bedroom. Because Ashley and Gretchen were close, she didn't knock her room. When she came into the room, she saw Gretchen's on her bed, and Ashley was shocked.
"Gretchen, what happened to your hair?!!"
"I don't know, when I woke up, my hair turned into this", Gretchen answered peevishly.
"Can't you do something to your hair?"
"I have tried everything. Mom had tried everything. It won't work."
"Can't you just tie your hair up?"
"I don't know."
"Hey, I know what we can do, I've seen my Mom with this kind of hair too and she could fix it!"
"She could?"
"yes!! Come on, let's try it!"

So, the theme of their play at that day turned into "Salon day", where Ashley tried different ways to fix Gretchen's hair. And after it can be fixed into beautiful style (at least better than before), they tried another style, until they concluded, the best style for them was no style at all.

Sometimes, bad hair day is only about hair. You can fix your hair, you can fix your day.
