Vexel is a neologism for an entirely pixel-based form of raster art that imitates the visual appearance of vector graphics technique (stolen from wiki ;D).

lol But you know what vector art is, right? Vexel is mostly like it but made with Photoshop instead of Illustrator (or other vector program). You build an image layer by layer using the pen tool (well I use it..).
