A gift art/kiriban for a friend on deviantART who requrested "wisteria in shades of violet". I love wisteria, so I was more than happy to paint one. At the time of this painting, my wisteria was in bloom, and I saw some damselflies, too, which became my inspiration. Of course, I can never resist the temptation to put pointe shoes on my flower fairies -- that's just how I see them.
Line art in biro on paper, scanned image colored in Corel Painter using primarily 'diffuse water' and 'soft charcoal' tools.
