100% colored pencil (black, various greys, and white) on a mid-tone grey paper.
Another old pencil drawing from my CPSA days. This one was shown in a juried international exhibition in San Diego, CA, sponsored by CPSA, and featured in the book "The Best of Colored Pencil 4".

I've been looking for some time now and I still can't tell if that is a real frame or a drawn on. You are my hero. Masters of pencil, and Biro, and fantasy ladys, and color, and flowers and shadowness and... Everything you set out to to, you win at.

Thank you so much for this comment, though I don't think I deserve all that high praise. ^^; I do have a funny story that goes with this. When I entered this into CPSA's annual international juried show, I got a call from the officials during judging, asking if the whole thing was a drawing or the circular band was part of the framing. XD I had almost forgotten about this until you said that.

High praise indeed you even fooled the pros. Have you ever thought of teaching, I would like to be a test student if you ever think about it.

XDD You flatter me too much! I've taught ballet and Japanese, (and asked to teach piano) but never been asked to teach pencil drawing.

I looked at some Buddhist statues for general reference, but no, I didn't copy anything.
