Ink & watercolor on vellum (140 lb.) 5" x 7". This was developed from a sketch done during Sketch Fest #32 (January, 2013) to a prompt, "Bone Queen". Mostly inspired by the skull-painted face of Day of the Dead celebration, this figure is lavishly decorated with bleeding poppies, feathers, bird skulls and bones, and skeleton body paint.
