Dec 4th, 2011Hello! I'm a photography enthusiast living in the Gold Country of California. I found my love of photography about a year ago on a trip to the coast with my husband. Since that trip, I have been devouring as much information as I can about the art of photography. My goal is to produce the best pictures I can as I explore the many aspects of my chosen art form. Nature is my first love, but I have also discovered portraits and that is my current obsession. I look forward to meeting other artists here, and learn as much as I can from you, my fellow artists.

I see the world in frames, as long as I can remember I have taken snap shots of everything I see. Photography to me is very important; it is how we can document the events of our lives. Things are always changing. I biggest obstacle is making sure my camera is always ready. One of my photography teachers told me to take a picture a day. I think this is very good advice and something I feel is important for me. It is a form of therapy, relaxation and peace. Today with the modern world of digital it is so easy to snap away without taking the time we once had to. With digital photography you see your images right away. I think that it is easy to forget to take that extra time to get the photograph you really want because you can take so many.
