Illustrator, artist

I graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1986, and have since continued to learn my craft, working mostly in monochrome, particularly graphite, though I have recently been experimenting with acrylics and oils.

My work is mostly figurative, and I like to play with mythological/folkloric themes, giving them a modern twist, and challenging the traditional roles of male and female within them. I attempt to create a dreamlike atmosphere in my work, often using personal symbols to add depth and meaning.
