Hi, I'm Splendid River (that was translated from my real name - Ha Huy Hoang). I'm now an architecture student at the University of Civil Engineering in Hanoi, Vietnam. I want to be a comic artist in the future so I do a lot of study in that. For training, I do a lot of fan art from some American comic charactors in my own style, which is influenced from the cartoon style of Bruce Timm and Sean Cheeks Galloway and many more other artists. But you can still see my own touch in each of my works. I can use a lot of artistic media like pencil, ink pen, water color, chinese ink,... and traditional art is my favourite. But most of my comic fanarts were done digitally in CorelDRAW. I'm now a member of a comic group which includes one of my friends and my cousin. We call ourselves the Comictrio. I am an aspiring writer and sequential artist hoping to one day publish my own graphic novels. Heavily inspired by the conflict between light and darkness, much of my work deals with the supernatural, i.e. angels, demons, and the like. Rock music is what I love listening to when creating. It gets the blood pumping and the juices flowing.

J.Spiccelli 15 --- I have reached a time in my life when I feel it is a good point to turn things around, and sort some things out. I have a strong passion for horses, and I love managing them at home, drawing and photographing them. I particularly love Arabians for their firey, exciting temperaments, and Andalusians for their beauty and strength. The ironic thing is that I also absolutely ADORE heavy metal and hard rock music, some of my favourite bands being Bullet for my Valentine, Nirvana, Slipknot (who are completely AMAZING live) and Linkin Park etc etc.. I also love Pendulum, System of a Down, Nickelback and other slightly wierd stuff like Abba, Michael Jackson and Bob Marley. I try to always see the good things in life, no matter how bad stuff gets, and I'm unfortunately not very open and try not to tell people too much. This can be good for others as it means I am highly unlikely to repeat something the told me in confidence.
