Jun 19th, 2007I have the white macbook :D it's beautiful and every since I got it, it's like my favoritest thing EVER and I'm absolutely in love with it!
an ipod of course :D I have the old one that they don't put in stores anymore. and I have the remote for the ipod. the remote, imo, is not worth it. O_O I also have the bose headphone that they have in the apple stores connected to the ipods, but that's not an apple product.
haha i didn't know ipods had remotes lol! the remote for macbook is nice tho! and yea, i got the white macbook too.

Jun 19th, 2007oh yeah they had these remote thingie. it's more like the....ionno what they're called, the ones you connect to the headphones so then you can navigate through the songs and change volume when your ipod is in the backpack or something. it's not really useful though. I thought they would be.

Of course worth the price. A friend tell me once... that a machine must pay the same price you pay for it with work... at least 3 times. So if a macbook cost $1000, you need at least a work or freelance where you can recover $3000. So in terms of productivity, I think mine (a more expensive one), just pays itself at least 10 times (maybe more).
So yes, worth the price because it's faster, easier, well designed... and beautiful :)

Yes! and it makes me so happy, my girlfriend tells me that i have been ignoring her for my computer... but i let her watch movies on it sometimes. Just not touch it. hahaha
Jun 27th, 2007I got mine more than a year back namely because of my course (ive sold my soul to Apple ever since XD ). It's an iBook G4 (1.42 GHz with 1GB DDR), pretty decent and runs programs such as Final Cut and Photoshop quite well. But its an older model,the newer models are supposed to be smoother and now come with iSight.

" macbook pro ;) had it for a year now, and going to invest in a display for it soonish. I was looking at the mac pro's (desktop)... i'm kind of a wee bit tempted to put the money down for it.
But its really just to indulge a ton of money into a pretty machine. I am a gamer at heart so I need the PC :/
Call me crazy, but i dont want to taint my macs with parallel windows installations.
use an external hard drive for windows, and boot up the games into the mac pro. ;p

i was thinking of getting an imac in december or feb, but now they released these new ones. i don't quite like the black on it. ;/
how is it anyway? does it look great irl? any difference in the performance?
hey dude, it looks damn amazing! in terms of performance, its a core 2 duo, compared to my core duo macbook pro, so you can notice subtle speed differences..but it is damn fast! the screens soooo bright, can be annoying, but i had to have mines calibrated using spyder and now its perfect. a definate good buy!

Plan to upgrade the memory and eventually get a 23" cinema display.
I think this must be the best thing i've ever done buying this and going to mac lol

Jun 23rd, 2008My 20 inch iMac comes with everything standard like 2.16 ghz intel core 2 Duo, 1gb 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, i'll be getting more memory soon enough. Hopefully I'll max it out with 4 gigs. I've also got a 500 GB Time Capsule that comes with AirPort capabilities. I upgraded from tiger to Leopard, which rocks.
And i must say that buying Apple is so damn addictive, i want more!
