Mar 29thartisan of dreams. of my dreams Lei lo aveva abituato al sangue per la paura che la sete potesse scoppiargli tutta in una volta, fin da piccolo al suo seno si era attaccato per suggere sangue come nutrimento. Aveva sbagliato mille volte con quel suo figlio e continuava a scegliere errori per lui perché i vampiri non sono bravi genitori, non lo sono affatto. Non sono programmati per esserlo in nessun caso e lei era degnamente vampira ma indegnamente madre…da troppi secoli la sua vita mortale si era spezzata per ricordarsi anche solo cosa significasse essere figlia, come poteva conoscere il significato della parola madre se non le era mai stato concesso un figlio come donna? Nei suoi infiniti venticinque anni non conosceva niente che poteva aiutarla nel crescere un figlio. Nei suoi trecentoventi anni non aveva mai pensato di essere una madre fallita, lo scoprì in quel momento, davanti a quei due ragazzi che avevano un odore troppo invitante e umano per resistere a non assaggiarli.

I think it fails to write, In my friends, But never in the friends of my friends, I want to believe in them but not them, At times myself alone, In my most sinister desires, In the voices, In the sweetness of the strokes, In the gut, In the cold, In pure ideas, I believe in Ambrosia, a new White House, But mostly I think that I may not stop making believe, I think.
Jul 8th, 2011I'm a self taught illustrator from the Philippines. My artworks usually focus on women with very long hair surrounded by flowers and vines. Other artworks depend on what I feel or what I have experienced. I do traditional and digital illustrations. I usually listen to music while I draw something because for me it helps a lot when I'm making details to my drawings. My dream is to become a childrens book illustrator. Feb 22ndLowbrow is a widespread populist art movement with origins in the underground comix world, punk music, hot-rod street culture, and other subcultures. Lowbrow art often has a sense of humor - sometimes the humor is gleeful, sometimes impish, and sometimes it is a sarcastic comment. The single most common tactic that Lowbrow artists employ is to poke fun at convention. They know the "rules" of art, and consciously choose not to abide by them. If the test of time for legitimacy (as an artistic movement) means that Lowbrow speaks/spoke, in visual terms, to the millions of us who share a common cultural, symbolic language - albeit a "lower" or "middle" class, media-driven language - then, yes, Lowbrow is here to stay. Anthropologists will probably study Lowbrow in the future, to attempt to figure out late 20th and early 21st century U.S. societal influences.

O'Hoski primary creates his work using Acrylic and Oil, but still finds favour in using Watercolour. To date, Christopher has exhibited in New York, Washington, Atlanta, Austin, Brooklyn, San Francisco and Toronto, while recently being published in International Contemporary Artists Volumes I, II and III out of Greece and New York .
