    i would desaturate the background and your clothes, maybe increase saturation on certain areas of your outfit and the rose, reduce glare (like on the door), add texture and grunge to the image to make it look older, add "mascara" by darkening your eyelashes on ps to make your face stand out a little more.

    and i think he meant why don't you do it

    Interesting choice of clothes! =) By the looks of it, you are trying to create a sad mood. I would have darkened the photo and maybe desaturized it a little bit and maybe keep the saturation of the rose. I tried it out on this photo today, and it looked awsome! =) I also tried it with a duo-tone! ;-) Regarding the model, great work! =D
