Jan 23rd, 2011 ReplyYour setup is crazy... everything is a white apple! lol

Haha, except the mouse and TV. I don't like Apple's mouse.
Jan 23rd, 2011 Replylair360
Yeh, I've used the apple mouse (before) and its like a rock that you can throw at! LOL

Lovely setup. I'm getting a Mac. Alienware's don't cut it anymore, especially when you can build one for cheaper. I've avoided Mac's because I was scared they were...a pain to use. But then I went over to a friend of the families to visit and had some time alone with their Mac. Probably the most fun I've had in awhile.
Jan 17th, 2011 Reply7Shadows
Once you go Mac, you don't go back. Haha, in all seriousness, my friend had an alienware laptop... those things are super bulky and heavy and the trackpad never worked smoothly... I don't know anyone with enough patience to use that.
Jan 17th, 2011 ReplyI don't think you will regret getting a Mac. It's been 5 years now and it's the best part of my day to work on such a usable system with GREAT UI. *coughs* Sorry for the mac fanboy comment.
aliencraft
Yeah, the UI is one of the reasons I want one. It's so sleek and seamless. Another reason is everyone I know in the design field are partial to Mac's for their performance with Photoshop and other editing suites. The only gripe I have with the Mac's would be the small keyboard! :O Maybe you get used to it? And I have big-ass hands. The mouse I was using didn't fit too well.
Jan 17th, 2011 Reply7Shadows
The keyboard is awesome. Probably the best keyboard I'ver ever had. I don't think having big hands is an issue... The mouse however I never got used to it. The right-click is not very accurate especially if you enjoy gaming like I sometimes do.

Mac mac mac!
Jan 17th, 2011 Reply Subscriberaliencraft
Either way, I will get one. The girlfriend allows me one big gadget every few months. So its going to be a toss up of either a brand spanking new, editing ready, Mac or Cintiq! Funny considering I bring most of the money in and I pay for her SUV!
