it's just sand.

It's just sand! Plain, simple, beautiful and pure. Yet the most terrifying experience of my life, standing amidst the perils of nature in the middle of... a desert.

With no hope in any directions, up, down, left or right. No water, no food, no shelter. Nothingness but sand and the overbearing sun which defying stood in its place throughout the day, not fidgeting even a bit.

So what am I trying to say here? Let's see..

So what would you do, if you were stuck in a desert, by yourself, without anything? No food, no water, no perezhilton, no shelter, no tanning lotion. Not even your 800 myspace friends. And specially without your cutting edge of a phone which can translate the word "dog" in 80 different languages.

What would you do?

You'd probably die ;)

They say, "Allah Hu Akbar" which means, God is great in Arabic.

This photo was taken on the border of Oman, on a very touristy trip across the desert in range rovers with overinflated tires. Very fun. Still, I guess the only thing I could think of during the whole trip was...if this vehicle breaks down...what/who can save us? I mean it's just sand!
